If you’re feeling despondent about the state of your sex life, you are most definitely not alone.
Britons now have 20 per less sex than 10 years ago; they sleep with fewer partners and devote less time to hanky panky, respected medical journal the Lancet has reported.
And although we’re not actually
getting down to it much, 95 per cent say they would ideally like to have
sex every day, with the other 5 per cent saying once a week would
satisfy them.
ring Britain: We are having less sex, with fewer people, than we were 10 years ago
Tiredness, job stress, porn
overexposure and technology creeping into the bedroom all mean that
though 48 per cent of us report having sex once a week, 13 per cent say
it’s only once every six months, and an unlucky 17 per cent say they
make love less than once every six months.
It is also easy, especially with a
long-term partner and a busy job, to slip into a monotonous routine
between the sheets – which doesn’t inspire making the extra effort
needed to actually have sex.
But, fear not, all of this can
easily be tackled with a few simple lifestyle changes and Femail, along
with Men’s Health sex columnist Nichi Hodgson, are here to show you how,
with the help of experts in sex, sports, nutrition and psychology.
