Ariana Grande has FINALLY let her hair down, guys. LITERALLY.

We appreciate it when celebs have “uniforms.” For Janelle Monáe, it’s usually the black-and-white tux situation; for Adele, it’s almost always the long black caftan. But, for Ariana Grande? It’s maybe-not-always-but-BASICALLY-always the highest ponytail to ever exist. Ever! (Or are there two sometimes? Unclear!)
Because, like, can you EVER think of a time where Ari wasn’t rocking large fractions of her hair up? (See: Exhibit A, Exhibit B, Exhibit C.) No, no, you cannot ever think of such a time.

Well, all of that changed approximately six hours ago when the “Snow In California” singer bravely took to Instagram to showcase her locks without that beloved high pony! (A true Christmas miracle, if you ask us.) She captioned: “I never wear my hair like this & when I do it doesn’t last long. don’t get used to it..” followed by yet ANOTHER photo post of her once again sporting her pony adding “@jonescrow took this. sorry about the hair style I know y’all hate it but I’m trying to switch it up more. this is just how I’m comfortableee. it’s just hurrrr anyway.”

The high pony returns… possibly with a vengeance.

No stress, bb girl! It is just hair, and the most important thing here is that you just do YOU. That said, it must feel good to have your hair down, even for, like, 10 minutes? Totally worth the hair-related headache break, non? ‘Cause don’t you even try to pretend that your tight ponytails don’t have you on a perma two Advil every six hours regimen.
