Transsexual star of the controversial new reality show This Is Liverpool leaves show after bust-up with fellow cast member

Online reality show
This Is Liverpool has been hit by more controversy after Transsexual
star Chelsey Harwood left the program following an alleged fight with
another cast member.
Harwood,
26, one of the of the main characters in the web-based series, said she
quit after she received abusive tweets that were then re-tweeted by
fellow cast member Vicky Yee.
However,
producers for the show say Chelsey is no longer involved in the web
series because she committed “gross misconduct” and have also accused
the star of feeding the press 'false information.'
Chelsey, a post-op transsexual revealed she “was born a boy” in the first episode of the reality-drama.
She said she left This Is Liverpool after Vicky retweeted messages which she believed were “transphobic”.
Vicky
declined to comment on the tweets, but said Chelsey had physically
attacked her at a photo shoot, saying: 'I suffered terrible injuries.'

n a statement the production company said that Chelsey had been feeding the press 'false information.''Phenomenal
Pictures can confirm that Chelsey Harwood will no longer be involved in
any future filming of This Is Liverpool or any future productions by
Phenomenal Pictures due to a matter of gross misconduct.
'Since
the decision has been made, Chelsey has approached the press with false
information and also assaulted a cast member of TIL, which has led to a
 police investigation.'

A police
spokesman said: 'An appointment has been made for the woman to visit a
police station on Friday to speak to police officers about what
allegedly happened.'
After being contacted by the MailOnline Chelsey responded to the claims surrounding her departure by saying they were all lies:
'I wasn't sacked I quit and I have the texts to Phenomenal to prove this,' she told MailOnline
'I quit on Tuesday (March 11) and the Echo picked the story up yesterday and they (Phenomenal Pictures) responded with lies'
She
added: 'It's in fact them fueling the press with lies, it's a pathetic
pr stunt and they are feeding off the following I had before the show.
I'm already established and they know anything with my name will provoke
 reaction.'

Supposedly a rival to The Only Way Is Essex, the 22 minute premier episode of This Is Liverpool went live last Sunday (March 9).
The trailer for the show had previously racked up 474,857 views on its YouTube channel.
During
the filming of the reality series two women were seen brawling outside a
house in Dingle, apparently over cast member Tony.
The builder is seen in his boxers and shirt as he tries to stop one blonde woman attacking another brunette.
One petitioner wrote: ‘Sometimes it's
best to just laugh off stereotypes, but this program reinforces them…
It seems like a huge step backwards to undo all of that just so a small
group of people can have 15 minutes of fame.
A
local comedian has produced an alternative to the trailer called What
is Liverpool? which extolls all the best things about the city which
didn’t include fighting or boozing.
