Tragedy as teenage model dies from cervical cancer after doctors refused to give her a smear test because she was too YOUNG

Sophie Jones, 19, from Eastham, near Liverpool, was initially told she had Crohn's Disease after going to the doctor saying she had bad stomach pains. But when her condition worsened in November and she was admitted to hospital, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and told it was too late to save her. Now her family and friends have launched an online petition calling for women below the age of 25 to have access to cervical cancer screening.
