Laverne Cox celebrated making television awards history on Thursday by attending an exclusive Justin Timberlake concert in New York City.
The 30-year-old Orange Is The New Black star earlier in the day became the first openly transgender actress to be nominated for an Emmy.
Laverne has become a fan favourite for her portrayal as Litchfield Penitentiary's resident hairdresser Sophia Burset in the hit Netflix series.

The actress rocked a sleeveless mint green mini-dress with a a narrow black grid cinched around her waist at the opening of a new cosmetics store and at the concert.
Laverne had her long flaxen tresses down and added inches to her height with black high heels.
